150 Years of Healing is about a few great American leaders, men and women who have stepped out beyond the religious and medical expectations of their time and dared to live life in a new way. These men and women—from Phineas Quimby in 19th century New England to Louise Hay and Marianne Williamson in 20th Century Los Angeles—are the founders and leading practitioners of America’s unique religious tradition: New Thought. Their teaching and practice is simple: our current experience is the result of assumptions and beliefs that we have held in the past; our future is a product of what we are thinking today; and we can change those thoughts.

150 Years of Healing provides an overview of their lives and practice and goes on to provide current scientific evidence and theory that explains how and why what they have done works.
